CET, owned and operated by the non-profit Greater Cincinnati Television Educational Foundation, was the first non-commercial television station in the nation licensed by the Federal Communications Commission. Since 1954, the organization has provided the community with public television programming for home viewers and educational video for teachers and students, and more recently, internet and digital technology services for homes and schools. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support funding of their IT infrastructure.
